Iconic American jazz vocalist Cassandra Wilson comes to CIT Cork School Of Music as part of a short Irish tour featuring a stellar ensemble of top Irish, folk, classical and jazz musicians from both sides of the Atlantic. Winner of two Grammy awards, Wilson has sold millions of albums on the Blue Note label but is known for her ability to attract audiences from across a broad spectrum of musical genres.

Cassandra Wilson will be accompanied by an all-star group of musicians from Ireland and the US, including John Davis (drums); Lonnie Plaxico (bass); Brandon Ross & David O’Rourke (guitars); Niall Vallely (concertina) and Paul Dunlea (trombone).
